• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to shape and work on our core Fusion Assemblies efforts
• Create UI and interaction design prototypes to improve exploration and internal alignment on design directions
• Demonstrate flexibility across various platforms such as desktop software, tablet apps, smartphone applications, and browser-based apps
• Assist in refining assembly interactions that scale consistently across different types of assemblies, from general mechanical designs to specific ones like consumer products, printed circuit boards, and factory workspaces
• Conduct user testing for design enhancement and iteration
• Work closely with the user research team to ensure prompt and actionable feedback
• Prototype and evaluate AI-driven interactions to ensure clarity, accuracy, and user confidence
• Engage in innovation sprints and activities to revolutionize 3D modeling and assembly experiences through generative artificial intelligence and other forms of automation
• Operate in an agile, iterative environment, aligning customer needs, business requirements, and cutting-edge technology advancements, including AI, while focusing on user-centered design principles
• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field
• Have a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in UX design within software, AI, or manufacturing settings
• Proficient in Adobe Suite and Figma, with experience using Jira, Confluence, Airtable, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills and expertise in user-centered design
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English
• Capable of working collaboratively in cross-functional teams across different time zones
• Experience with Autodesk products, CAD/CAM technologies (AutoCAD, Fusion, Mastercam, SOLIDWORKS, On Shape, Blender, Creo), or designing solutions for complex, multi-faceted experiences like data visualization, 3D modeling, and/or simulation
• Effective communication and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify technical topics for a non-technical audience
• Experience in conducting user research, including interviews and usability testing, and applying insights to improve designs effectively
