• Collaborate with project leadership to support the UX vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Utilize human-centered design techniques to uncover user needs.
• Create and communicate design deliverables like customer journeys, service blueprints, user personas, and data visualizations to meet partner requirements.
• Conduct user research and participatory design to refine UX designs.
• Generate innovative designs to address user experience challenges within the project team.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to describe and test proposed user experiences.
• Coordinate with QA and development teams to ensure successful design implementation.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative user data to prioritize projects for organizational impact.
• Clearly explain the human-centered design process and decision rationale to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in design, human computer interaction, business, computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of UX design experience in the software industry.
• Strong understanding of HCD principles, user research, and workflows.
• Portfolio showcasing design processes and deliverables like wireframes and mockups.
• US residency requirement with Federal public trust eligibility.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.0 Level AA / Section 508 compliance is a plus.
• 10+ years of professional experience and a Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in federal contracting or healthcare IT is advantageous.
• Previous clearance to work with CMS or HHS is a bonus.
