• We are currently looking for a talented and detail-focused UX Designer to join our innovative design team.
• As a UX Designer, your main responsibility will be to craft seamless, intuitive, and visually appealing digital experiences.
• Collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders is crucial to translate user requirements into user-friendly interfaces, enhancing the overall user journey.
• IFS fosters a highly collaborative environment where you will build strong relationships with product managers and designers, and frequently collaborate with engineers and leaders beyond your immediate team.
• We are in search of a proficient designer with hands-on experience in user experience, a genuine empathy for our end users, and a dedication to creating products with accessibility and usability at the forefront.
• As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping overall strategy, contributing ideas, and making decisions regarding product direction.
• You will assist in delivering and refining compelling narratives around product needs and opportunities.
• Working cross-functionally with product management, engineering, design, and research peers is essential.
• Forming strong personal connections with your team members and influencing IFS's culture are part of your responsibilities.
• You will be involved in creating, collaborating, and iterating on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals, as well as designing and implementing high-quality product enhancements.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in crafting user experiences across content, design, or engineering domains
• Profound understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and the ability to integrate user feedback into design refinements
• Keen eye for meticulous visual and interaction design, with a focus on high-quality outcomes
• Familiarity with design systems and documentation
• Experience in independently exploring concepts from inception to completion
• Demonstrated ability to devise simple solutions for complex user challenges
• Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping to communicate intricate design decisions
• Sound grasp of fundamental design principles such as information hierarchy, layout, spacing, typography, color, accessibility, and usability
• Hands-on proficiency in Figma and other prevalent design tools, with the capability to mentor and guide design teams
• Capability to create user flows and wireframes for new features
• Proficiency in integrating user feedback into designs and product functionalities
• Advocate for design thinking within the product team and the wider organization
• Excellent communication skills enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with Jira and agile scrum processes (a bonus)
• Experience in mentoring junior or early career designers (a bonus)
• Good understanding of front-end development and collaboration with engineering (a bonus)
• Experience in designing for various screens/devices (responsive design) and ensuring cross-browser compatibility (a bonus)
