• Take the lead in executing design deliverables for various projects and retainers, such as sitemaps, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, UI component libraries, and custom graphics.
• Transform briefs into reliable, intentional solutions that harmonize audience needs with client objectives.
• Iterate rapidly, incorporating feedback with meticulous attention to detail and strategic implementation.
• Collaborate closely with Art Directors, strategists, and developers to ensure alignment throughout the discovery, design, and implementation phases.
• Document design decisions and provide precise specifications for development.
• Contribute to discovery and user research activities on specific projects.
• Confidently present and communicate design concepts to clients, guiding discussions and fostering consensus through workshops and reviews.
• Mentor junior designers by exemplifying processes, offering constructive feedback, and nurturing professional development.
• Introduce new ideas, participate in team brainstorms, and assist in evolving the creative processes at Teal.
• Support business development by contributing to case studies and showcasing our design work.

• Minimum 4 years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in an agency setting
• Demonstrated experience in conducting or applying user research and usability testing
• Expert knowledge of UX best practices, design principles, and accessibility standards
• Proficiency with design and business software (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
• Strong understanding of website design and development processes, including familiarity with HTML/CSS, taxonomies, content structures, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to confidently present to and guide clients
• Self-starter mentality, excelling in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities
