• Take on the role of a Senior or Staff UX Designer at Checkly to empower developers in owning and ensuring application performance and reliability.
• Lead the product design of Checkly's platform, serving as the go-to person for design decisions on user experience and interface for the team.
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to bridge design and development, including prototyping in code when necessary.
• Contribute to the design vision for new features, from initial exploration to implementation and iteration.
• Work closely with support, customer success teams, and users to deeply understand customer problems.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the design system with Engineering to ensure scalability, accessibility, and performance.
• Advocate for high standards of UI/UX and developer experience across teams, balancing pragmatism with tradeoffs.
• Proficiency in designing data-heavy screens such as graphs, tables, and charts.
• Experience with design-systems is required.
• Previous experience as a frontend engineer or the ability to code when necessary is a plus.
• Ability to quickly visualize and prototype ideas, leveraging AI when appropriate.
• Willingness to accept feedback and move forward from current designs.
• Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Capability to work autonomously and stay motivated in a remote work setting, while also valuing team collaboration.
• This is a fully remote position within the UTC-3 to UTC+3 time zones.
