Staff UX Designer

📋 Description

• Responsible for enhancing the UI and refining the UX of key components in PowerSchool's Allovue and talent software platforms.

• Tasked with design projects aligned with quarterly product feature objectives.

• Managing and expanding the design system.

• Developing and refining product designs using Figma.

• Collaborating with the design team, product managers, and engineers to address complex challenges and limitations.

• Playing a pivotal role in shaping product design within constraints, influencing the final form of requested features.

• Reviewing Pull Requests to ensure design consistency and accuracy prior to merging.

• Proactively seeking feedback and guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in web app or software design.

• Portfolio showcasing a strong grasp of UX and visual design principles.

• Proficient in collaborating with remote colleagues across different time zones.

• Proficiency in Figma.

• Previous experience creating Figma designs using components extensively.

• Experience in building and expanding design systems, both generally and within Figma.

• Experience in mentoring junior designers.
