• Join an Agile Scrum team to provide UI/UX design and development for releasable software in short sprint cycles.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, software developers, stakeholders, and end users within Agile processes.
• Design custom software application capabilities for legacy and modernized systems independently.
• Lead the design of a cohesive look-and-feel and standardized user experience across applications.
• Collaborate with various teams and clients to create effective design strategies.
• Develop compelling user-focused experiences and communicate design ideas effectively.
• Create and execute experience style guides, interaction patterns, and design standards.
• Establish layout and style libraries across applications.
• Work with the functional team to determine requirements feasibility and design improvements.
• Ensure product quality, timeliness, and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass CBP background investigation.
• Degree in Interactive Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or Human Factors.
• 5+ years' experience as a visual designer, interaction designer, or similar role.
• Proficient with enterprise UI design tools like Figma, Axure, or similar.
• Experience in communicating designs with stakeholders and understanding technical feasibility.
• Design Thinking certifications from reputable organizations.
• Experience designing for web accessibility and information architecture.
• Interest in educating others on user-centered design best practices.
