📋 Description

• Join our team as a UI/UX Designer at GDIT and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on challenging projects while advancing your career

• As a Senior Web Designer, you will play a key role in ensuring a secure present and an intelligent future

• Guide government clients in implementing human-centered approaches to tackle intricate user experience dilemmas

• Lead UX initiatives from discovery to interface design, including research, prototyping, iteration, visual design, user testing, and accessibility testing

• Advocate for the customer, ensuring their needs are met in the proposed solutions

• Carry out UI/UX Designer duties involving planning, executing UX initiatives, and testing


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Ability to obtain U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with at least 5 years of experience

• Minimum 4 years of professional UX and UI experience in designing solutions for digital products across multiple platforms

• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing ideology, methods, tools, skills, and expertise

• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and analytical abilities

• Collaborative with excellent written communication and presentation skills

• Experience in project-based environments

• Degree or equivalent experience in HCD, HCI, and/or UX design

• Proficient in conducting user research and applying insights to design

• Experience in UI design, including wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and accessibility testing

• Knowledge of 508 compliance requirements

• Familiarity with Agile delivery framework and scrum teams

• Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Zeplin, and other prototyping tools

• Desire to stay updated on industry tools and best practices
