📋 Description

• Responsible for creating user interface wireframes and mockups utilizing Figma and Storybook for React applications integrated with REST/SOAP APIs

• Involved in system planning and deployment processes to ensure adherence to compliance and testing standards

• Direct frontend design activities, establish user guidelines, and facilitate Veteran-centered research sessions to address feature intentions and IA

• Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to timelines

• Mentor and lead the design team, promoting continuous learning and excellence in UX/UI design

• Develop and maintain UX design best practices and standards across interfaces

• Engage in user requirement gathering, develop user stories, and manage project timelines and estimates

• Create detailed UX documentation including design specs, user guidelines, and maintenance manuals

• Lead user testing and UX integration efforts to ensure usability and effectiveness

• Maintain active communication with stakeholders to align design goals and address UX issues

• Perform UX analyses of system requirements to optimize interface design and system performance

• Participate in design and sprint reviews to ensure deliverables meet user needs


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (or equivalent)

• Demonstrated expertise in designing interactive applications using tools such as Figma

• Strong analytical skills to investigate user behaviors and derive actionable insights

• Ability to independently lead UX projects

• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including developers and product managers

• Proficient in Agile UX methodologies and iterative design processes

• Thorough understanding of the UX design lifecycle from research to deployment

• Familiarity with cloud-based UX tools and user testing platforms such as InVision and Zeplin

• Experience with design version control and project management tools (e.g., Github, Jira, Confluence)

• Adaptability to remote work environments

• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust
