• Collaborate with product, engineering, and creative teams to ensure intuitive designs that meet user needs and business objectives.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to guide design choices.
• Assisting in creating wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that adhere to usability and interaction design principles.
• Documenting and refining customer journey maps to enhance the overall user experience.
• Generating clean, user-friendly designs for digital interfaces, CMS applications, and responsive web pages.
• Applying brand guidelines and design system standards consistently across projects.
• Creating UI assets like icons, buttons, and layouts.
• Collaborating with senior designers, product managers, and developers to align design work with project requirements and timelines.
• Participating in design reviews and integrating feedback to enhance design quality and functionality.
• Ensuring a seamless handoff of design files to development and assisting in quality assurance as necessary.
• Contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of Spectrio’s design system, including updating shared components and documentation.
• Maintaining consistency in the look and feel across all digital products.
• Gathering feedback to iterate on design patterns and guidelines.
• Staying updated on design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Engaging in team discussions to enhance usability, accessibility, and customer experience.
• Seizing opportunities to enhance technical skills and broaden design capabilities through on-the-job learning and mentorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Web Development, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a UI/UX design or digital product design role.
• Portfolio showcasing a solid understanding of user-centered design, wireframing, and responsive design principles.
• Proficiency in Figma or other design tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) is a bonus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience in an agency or cross-functional team environment is advantageous.
