UI/UX Developer

📋 Description

• This is a remote position

• The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) seeks a senior UI/UX developer

• The role involves developing UX architecture, including sitemaps, journey maps, wireflows, and taxonomy designs

• The emphasis is on human-centered design with a focus on accessibility and usability

• Develop screen designs and optimize workflows for high-performance web application for Summer EBT program

• Work closely with Nutrition Program Services staff and MNIT/MDE team

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design

• At least 3 years focused in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Axure, Adobe XD, or similar

• Professional experience directly creating human-centered designs

• Understanding of UX/UI principles, accessibility, and usability

• Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication skills to present design ideas

• Experience in creating interactive, low- and high-fidelity prototypes

• Experience with A/B testing and behavioral analytics

• Experience in building reusable component libraries and design systems

• Strong user-first mindset
