• Join a multi-disciplinary Agile development team to revamp a legacy federal case management platform, serving as the expert in UI/UX design and development.
• Create user-centric UX designs for a new application, ensuring compliance with standards like 508 compliance and federal design guidelines.
• Engage in user requirements gathering sessions, user research, and usability testing to shape design decisions.
• Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that meet user needs and federal design criteria.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to align user-centered solutions with technical and functional requirements.
• Champion interaction design, information architecture, and design systems to enhance user experience across the CMS.
• Design reusable UI components and front-end patterns for long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Conduct design reviews and support deployment, testing, and enhancement phases on AWS.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Bring 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design for complex web applications.
• Have a background in designing for federal government IT environments and knowledge of Section 508 compliance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Familiarity with USWDS, Agile/Scrum development, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architecture on AWS.
• Possess US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 DoD security clearance.
