• This is a remote position based in London, UK, offering a full-time role with equity options.
• Our Client is seeking a UX Engineer who combines design thinking with front-end skills to create accessible, intuitive, and visually appealing user experiences.
• You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to bring neuroinclusive design principles to fruition.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Create, prototype, and enhance user interfaces using Figma and other design tools.
• Transform UX/UI designs into functional front-end components using React (or Vue/Svelte) and CSS frameworks.
• Advocate for accessible and neuroinclusive design, ensuring compliance with WCAG standards.
• Collaborate with developers to bridge the gap between design and implementation.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate and iterate on designs.
• Enhance UI performance and responsiveness across different devices and screen sizes.
• Manage and improve our design system and component library.
• Demonstrated UX/UI expertise, with a portfolio showcasing design systems, user flows, and prototypes in Figma.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS (Tailwind or similar), JavaScript/TypeScript, and familiar with React or another modern front-end framework.
• Experience with design tokens, component libraries, and scalable UI systems.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation).
• A collaborative mindset - capable of working closely with engineers, product managers, and end users.
• Experience in user research, usability testing, and iterative design processes.
• Familiarity with motion design, AI-driven UX, or Webflow/No-Code tools.
• Contribute to a valuable product that promotes inclusivity in workplaces.
