📋 Description

• Manage a critical and intricate aspect of the Castlight platform that is undergoing a transformation.

• Advocate for the user and innovate cutting-edge rewards and shopping experiences for users.

• Revamp a complex workflow for Benefit Leaders in configuring and overseeing benefit programs using Castlight’s admin tools.

• Engage in the design process at various levels, from an overarching perspective to detailed interactions for a sophisticated user experience.

• Organize and conduct user research studies to validate design concepts.

• Coordinate deadlines to incorporate research and iteration into the design process seamlessly.

• Collaborate with the design team to maintain consistency in design patterns, voice, and tone throughout the application.

• Implement the new design system, creating new patterns and interactions to advance it.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement design work, making informed tradeoff decisions and fostering strong cross-functional relationships.

• Stay updated on UX trends and technological advancements to ensure leading design practices within the industry.

• Introduce new processes, ideas, and workflows to the UX team and collaborate with product and engineering partners.

• Serve as a positive role model and mentor for the design team, promoting a culture of design excellence.

• Contribute to various tasks as required and establish new practices to develop a cohesive and dynamic organization.

• Work towards creating a smart, talented, and enjoyable working environment for the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field; Master’s degree preferred

• Over 8 years of experience in product UX design, with a track record of successful and user-friendly products

• Proficient in Figma, the designated design tool

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in agile product development teams

• Strong grasp of design systems, user flows, and interaction design principles

• Experience in user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design enhancements

• Skilled in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups

• Understanding of responsive design, mobile-first principles, and cross-platform user experiences

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and designing for complex user interactions and workflows

• Deep understanding of accessibility standards and designing for diverse user groups
