• As a UX Designer, you will collaborate with clients to bring their product vision to life, using research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing to craft seamless digital experiences.
• You’ll rapidly iterate on designs in an Agile environment, translating ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable deliverables while ensuring alignment with human-centered design principles.
• You’ll work closely with stakeholders, product teams, and developers, using tools like Figma and Mural to create and refine design artifacts.
• Strong consulting skills, user research experience, and the ability to navigate complex requirements are key to success in this role.
• Prior experience in government contracting and service design is a plus!
🎯 Requirements
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• A bachelor’s degree in any field, or commensurate work experience and certifications
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Information Technology, focusing on user experience design within product development teams.
• Excellent understanding and practical experience in:
• Figma including prototyping and libraries
• Digital whiteboarding tools such as Mural
• Performing user research and refining business requirements in service of your designs
• Moving designs from low-fidelity to high-fidelity in an iterative fashion
• Guiding the design process from planning through execution in an independent capacity
• Managing work and documentation in Jira and Confluence
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Agile leads, software developers, testers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment
• Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous customer requests and diverse perspectives into clear, actionable deliverables.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently to perform on the job
• Strong consulting skills and ability to build trust with clients and teammates
• Prior experience in government contracting is a plus!
• Professional experience related to service design and an understanding that technical solutions are part of a bigger, human-centered picture is a bonus!
