• Be a part of Second Front Systems (2F), a company dedicated to national security, and contribute to the development of the Game Warden platform
• Take charge of the user experience (UX) for deployment, configuration, and accreditation processes, simplifying intricate tasks into guided steps
• Collaborate with various teams, including product managers, engineers, compliance, and security experts, to translate deployment and accreditation requirements into user-friendly designs
• Conduct user research through interviews, usability testing, and surveys with software providers to gather insights for design improvements
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to effectively communicate solutions to stakeholders and engineers
• Use feedback from user testing and technical limitations to enhance the overall user experience continuously
• Contribute to the design system for consistency and scalability, working closely with product management and engineering
• Uphold user-centered design principles throughout the product development process
• Must be a U.S. citizen to meet government contract obligations
• Reside in approved hiring hubs: DC/Maryland/Virginia; Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC; Denver/Colorado Springs, CO; Dallas/Fort Worth, TX
• 3-4+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or UI Designer for complex web applications or SaaS products
• Strong portfolio showcasing design process, problem-solving, and delivery of user-centered solutions
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools (Figma preferred; Sketch, Adobe XD or similar)
• Experience in user research and translating findings into actionable design insights
• Knowledge of user-centered design principles, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and understand technical constraints
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Preferred: experience in designing for technical users or B2B enterprise software; familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker); understanding of government compliance frameworks (ATO, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53); experience with design systems
