UX Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop high-performing, responsive, and inclusive user interfaces for map-centric applications

• Implement core features using React and advanced visualization tools like Mapbox, Leaflet, or Deck.gl

• Work closely with designers to ensure user requirements are met in the UI design

• Incorporate data from backend systems using REST or GraphQL protocols

• Enhance rendering and frontend speed, especially for handling extensive datasets

• Contribute to the growth and maintenance of our component library and design framework

• Write clean, testable, and scalable code with a focus on reusability

• Engage in UX assessments, usability testing, and collaborative design sessions

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 3–6 years of experience in frontend development and UX-oriented engineering roles

• Proficiency in React and JavaScript (or TypeScript) encompassing component architecture, state management, and hooks

• Hands-on experience in crafting interactive map-driven interfaces using Mapbox, Leaflet, or similar tools

• Familiarity with WebGL or frameworks like Deck.gl, Three.js, or D3

• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility guidelines, and modern frontend workflows

• Comfortable collaborating in a diverse, cross-functional team setup

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and managing asynchronous data processes

• Strong eye for detail, especially in translating designs into functional interfaces
