• Create accurate and visually appealing 3D models of mechanical, electrical, and building systems equipment such as air handlers, chillers, pumps, and VAVs
• Adhere to established asset templates to maintain consistency in layout, structure, and appearance
• Implement proper geometry, materials, and naming conventions to support BIM and visualization integration
• Assist in developing and managing a standardized 3D asset library
• Organize files, folders, and metadata for efficient access and reuse
• Participate in quality checks to ensure assets meet visual and technical standards
• Collaborate with senior modelers and engineers to comprehend equipment layouts and design specifications
• Make revisions to models based on feedback from project teams
• Aid in integrating models into larger building and system environments
• Ensure all deliverables adhere to internal standards for scale, level of detail, and visual quality
• Maintain clean, lightweight models optimized for BIM performance and rendering
• Follow established workflows, templates, and modeling best practices
• Possess a Certificate, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in 3D Modeling, Drafting, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field
• Relevant practical experience will be taken into consideration
• 0–2 years of experience in 3D modeling, CAD drafting, or similar roles
• Internship or academic project experience is acceptable
• Exposure to mechanical or building systems is advantageous
• Familiarity with 3D modeling tools such as Autodesk Revit, 3ds Max, Blender, SketchUp, or equivalent
• Basic understanding of materials, textures, and lighting for visualization
• Knowledge of file organization, model hierarchy, and naming conventions
• Openness to learning BIM coordination principles and model optimization techniques
• Experience in mechanical equipment or MEP systems is preferred but not mandatory
