• Create and implement dynamic particle effects in real-time for gameplay, environments, and cinematics using a combination of 2D and 3D elements
• Develop and paint textures for particles, decals, and materials including color, normal, specular, and emissive maps
• Construct basic geometries with accurate UVs tailored for VFX purposes
• Collaborate closely with Design, Art, and Engineering teams to ensure that effects enhance gameplay clarity and visual cohesion
• Strategically position and fine-tune VFX across environments, encounters, and cutscenes to enrich player experience
• Optimize effects for optimal performance and visibility while upholding artistic integrity
• Uphold a consistent visual style and quality while offering innovative solutions to technical obstacles
• Provide constructive feedback to peers and contribute to enhancing documentation and processes for the VFX pipeline
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience creating real-time VFX for games
• Proficient in working with real-time engines
• Understanding of particle systems, shaders, timing, and motion principles
• Familiarity with software like Photoshop, Houdini, EmberGen, or similar tools
• Strong artistic sensibility for composition, color, and visual clarity
• Experience in optimizing VFX for both console and PC performance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across different disciplines
• Ability to work independently in a remote team setting
