• Collaborate closely with the Technical Art Director to develop, construct, and maintain content creation, animation, and pipeline tools within and beyond the engine, utilizing Python and/or C++.
• Generate assets and systems that demand technical art proficiency within the engine (blueprints, material networks, control rig, performance optimization, etc).
• Utilize Sequencer and Maya expertise to troubleshoot and resolve cinematic issues.
• Engage with artists, technical artists, engineers, and designers both internally and externally to ensure streamlined workflows and pipelines.
• Document, uphold, enforce, and offer guidance on asset integrity, standards, and performance benchmarks.
• Develop and sustain clear, pertinent usage documentation for technical art processes and best practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional game industry experience.
• Proficiency in Unreal with specialized knowledge in Sequencer, Blueprints, characters, MetaHumans, Control Rig, LODs, and performance optimization.
• Intermediate level Python scripting skills for creating artist and pipeline tools in Maya and/or Unreal using a Qt framework.
• Competence and practical experience in modeling, rigging, and animation with a comprehensive understanding of the complete CG pipeline.
• Familiarity with game performance assessment tools for profiling CPU, GPU, and memory performance across various target platforms.
• Experience in rigging for games or film.
• Intermediate proficiency in C++ with Maya and/or Unreal.
