• Develop lifelike environment assets optimized for Unreal Engine 5 real-time performance, including Nanite, Lumen, Virtual Shadow Maps, and Hardware Raytracing.
• Transform real-world liminal spaces into modular assets for creating immersive in-game environments.
• Create modular kits, trim sheets, decals, and master materials for procedural placement and efficient world-building.
• Set up lighting and materials to enhance the game's mood and atmosphere.
• Collaborate with design and technical teams to ensure environmental assets meet gameplay and performance standards.
• Participate in internal art reviews and offer feedback to maintain project consistency.
• Ensure all work adheres to the project's visual and technical guidelines.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an Environment Artist in the game development industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing realistic or atmospheric 3D environments, with examples of procedural generation or tool-assisted world-building.
• Proficient in Unreal Engine 5, Substance 3D Painter/Designer, Maya or Blender, and Photoshop.
• Expertise in creating assets using Nanite, Virtual Textures, and Hardware Raytracing.
• Experience with modular asset workflows and real-time performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of composition, lighting, scale, and color theory.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Passion for environmental storytelling and atmospheric world-building.
