• Manage the creation and validation of outsourced content while providing feedback and technical oversight.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure vendor deliverables meet quality standards.
• Identify and address risks related to scalability and optimization early on.
• Review work in-engine, troubleshoot integration issues, and offer feedback to vendors.
• Work closely with Design, Tech Art, and Engineering teams to ensure consistency and efficiency in asset libraries.
• Mentor vendors and less-experienced artists, guiding them on best practices and optimization techniques.
• Support automation in environment assembly and maintain documentation and style guides.
• Must have a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality art created in game engines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in environment art with 2 years in vendor management.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software for modeling and sculpting.
• Ability to interpret concepts creatively and apply traditional art skills.
• Understanding of modular workflows, real-time rendering, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with level art workflows and practices, as well as adapting art styles with minimal guidance.
