• Demonstrate versatility in adapting to various processes, workflows, toolsets, and styles for keyframe and motion capture production
• Produce high-quality animation following the direction of supervisors and leads, while meeting metric and schedule requirements
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors, management, production team, and staff on a daily basis
• Incorporate feedback and notes into work with diligence
• Present concept ideas to leads and supervisors through blockouts
• Communicate technical issues to leads effectively
• Prepare renders and notes for reviews diligently
• Create video references as needed to enhance assignments
• Familiarize oneself with all animation tools utilized in the project, including both internal and client-developed tools
• Identify and address potential risks to project delivery timelines
• Prior animation experience in the entertainment industry
• Proficiency in Maya
• Strong eye for character animation movement and aesthetic
• Ability to adapt to changes in direction while following established procedures
• Familiarity with Motion Builder (preferred)
• Understanding of pipelines, workflows, and toolsets used in key frame and motion capture animation (preferred)
• Knowledge of AAA facial animation workflows (preferred)
• Experience with FACS based rigs (preferred)
• Direct experience with game-engine builds or devkits (preferred)
• Comfortable collaborating in a global team setting (preferred)
• Organized, focused, self-motivated, and adept at interpersonal interactions
