• Develop tools and scripts in Python and C++ to enhance artist workflows, particularly in Blender and Photoshop.
• Enhance the automated asset pipeline to ensure seamless integration of art assets into the game.
• Act as a liaison between art and programming teams by implementing features, resolving issues, and providing technical solutions to foster creativity.
• Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and programmers to support technical art and gameplay implementation.
• Adapt to new engines and pipelines as projects progress.
• Embrace feedback and iterate swiftly on tools and systems to meet team requirements.
• Foster a collaborative, "indie dev" mindset by assisting colleagues as needed.
• Work with team members and offer constructive criticism on submissions.
• Self-motivated, adaptable to new workflows, willing to learn new skills, and fill gaps in team structure.
• Report to the Art Director.
• Compensation: $60k - $75k depending on experience.
• Previous experience as a Technical Artist, Tools Engineer, or similar role in game development.
• Proficient in Blender and Photoshop for asset workflows.
• Strong scripting and programming skills in Python and C++.
• Demonstrated track record in developing tools that boost productivity for art teams.
• Experience in SFX / particle effects creation and optimization.
• Knowledge of animation and rigging workflows.
• Background in various art disciplines as a generalist artist.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication with artists and engineers.
• Self-motivated, adaptable to new workflows, willing to learn and fill gaps in team structure.
