Remote Jobs
• Responsible for building, maintaining, debugging, and refining gameplay animation systems, including character animation blueprints
• Source and prototype animation content by developing new assets or adapting existing ones
• Implement procedural systems such as physics-driven reactions, inverse kinematics, and real-time adjustments
• Create, document, and promote best practices, content standards, and tools for the gameplay animation pipeline
• Collaborate with artists and engineers to implement and upkeep a mesh skinning pipeline prototype in Blender
• Contribute to brainstorming, playtests, and feedback sessions to enhance the player experience through animation
• Must have 4+ years of experience in animation, art, or tech art in games, with at least one shipped title
• 2+ years of experience with Unreal Engine is essential
• Demonstrated expertise in Unreal’s animation systems and features, including animation blueprints, IK, retargeting, and control rig
• Strong understanding of game animation pipelines, from content creation to integration
• Proficient in skinning meshes, creating rigs, and animating in Blender (preferred) or Maya
• Ability to establish workflows and standards that balance technical precision with creative requirements
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Strong collaboration skills and capability to work independently or in a small creative team
