• Work closely with the Art Team and Game Designers to develop stylized 3D environments
• Create expansive painterly natural environments, foliage, structures, vehicles, props, textures, and materials
• Help establish high standards for quality environments
• Collaborate with the team to understand game-making processes and suggest innovative ideas for enhancing environments
• Engage in playtesting and interact with team members to improve the game
• Coordinate with various disciplines to fulfill gameplay requirements while achieving artistic objectives
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the gaming industry
• Previous experience with shipping games in Unreal Engine 4/5
• Proficiency in creating expansive open worlds
• In-depth knowledge of Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Zbrush, Substance, Marmoset, and other 2D/3D tools
• Experience in hand painting textures
• Strong understanding of PBR principles and the ability to innovate within them
• Solid grasp of forms, shape language, design principles, lighting, and composition
• Thorough understanding of Retopology, UVs, and baking techniques
• Enthusiasm for stepping out of your comfort zone to improve and learn new techniques
• Knowledge of Traditional Art, Unreal Engine Blueprints, Shaders, and Level Design
• Excellent observation skills and a deep understanding of nature and the environment
• Ability to collaborate, adapt, and communicate effectively with a global team
