• CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a talented Environment Artist with experience in creating rocks, terrain, and geological formations.
• In this role, you will support the Environment Artists team in building a realistic and visually impressive resource archive.
• You will work with scanned data and create assets from scratch using digital modeling techniques.
• Your contributions will shape the environments of our upcoming titles, collaborating with a multifunctional and inclusive team.
• Please note: this is a full-time position on an 18-month contract.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent tools).
• Experience with a major 3D modeling tool such as Blender, 3DS Max, or Maya.
• Experience in digital sculpting with ZBrush.
• Solid knowledge of photogrammetric processes.
• Understanding of PBR processes and shader development.
• Good understanding of lighting techniques and color theory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to visual details.
• Independence and ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to estimate tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Remote work from home or anywhere in the UTC +2 time zone.
