• Previous experience as an environment artist on multiple released games.
• Preferably, experience in various roles related to environments such as props artist, lighting artist, texture artist, level artist, etc.
• Strong artistic vision and knowledge across various art forms like painting, drawing, cinema, and video games.
• Excellent technical skills to understand the performance implications of world building and prop creation.
• Keen observation skills to assess the impact of objects within the environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to convey storytelling through scenes and props.
• Proficiency in real-time editors like Unreal Engine and familiarity with procedural environment creation tools like Houdini and Blender is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of shaders is a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and provide regular updates.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
