• Maintain high standards of modeling, texturing, and material creation.
• Create realistic interior and exterior environments from white box stages.
• Work closely with other disciplines to ensure cohesive game worlds.
• Implement proper file naming and directory structure.
• Conduct research to ensure environments are authentic and representative of real-world examples.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Demonstrated experience in creating large-scale realistic environments for professional game development.
• Proficiency in Substance Painter.
• Strong attention to detail and ability in world building and storytelling.
• Strong texturing skills.
• Ability to work independently, self-critique, and adapt accordingly.
• Ability to enhance a brief with personal research and ideas while meeting core requirements.
• Understanding of the iterative approach.
• Positive response to feedback and professional communication with stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of art creation in the game development pipeline.
• Experience with source control and willingness to adapt to different software and engines.
• Experience with various game engines is a plus.
