• Develop and maintain essential shaders, such as layered materials, procedural damage, weathering effects, and responsive visuals for gameplay.
• Create tools and workflows to support artists, seamlessly integrating them into familiar environments like Unreal Engine editor tools and Substance Painter.
• Experiment with and implement new features in Unreal Engine, collaborating with engineers and Epic Games to push the boundaries of real-time content creation.
• Address pipeline challenges, optimize assets, and ensure smooth delivery across various platforms.
• Mentor colleagues and foster a collaborative tech art culture that values curiosity, knowledge-sharing, and experimentation.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical art role within the gaming industry.
• Proficient in Unreal Engine 5, including shader development and system integration.
• Familiarity with 3D content creation tools such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, and Substance Painter.
• Experience in tool development using C++ and/or Python.
• Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges with precision.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of taking ownership of impactful tasks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across different disciplines.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) with a portfolio showcasing technical art contributions and relevant code samples or tools/scripts.
