• Take initiative in developing and implementing top-quality, high-performance VFX Assets/Tools/Systems for games, such as real-time particle systems, textures, shaders, and scripting
• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and fellow artists to create, implement, and troubleshoot VFX
• Demonstrate self-motivation, meeting deadlines, and actively engaging with the team to achieve VFX objectives
• Identify and address performance issues effectively
• Maintain an organized and detailed approach to VFX creation, documentation, and sharing within the team
• Exhibit a positive attitude and adaptability to support team needs
• Showcase a portfolio demonstrating expertise in real-time VFX creation using Niagara in Unreal Engine
• Proficient in developing VFX Assets with advanced techniques in software like Houdini, Embergen, Maya, or Blender
• In-depth knowledge of vector math, real-time lighting, post FX, shaders, and performance optimization
• Skilled in Unreal Engine Blueprint for VFX implementation and tool creation
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Digital Art, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
• Possess 5+ years of experience in game development or related fields
• Contributed to shipping at least 2 or 3 AAA games as a VFX or Technical Artist
