• As a Senior Technical Artist, you will serve as the link between artistry and engineering, crafting scalable UI/UX systems, developing stylized shaders, and tackling creative hurdles that directly influence gameplay and player engagement.
• We seek a versatile professional with a robust artistic foundation and sufficient technical acumen to breathe life into modular, visually captivating systems in Unity. You will collaborate closely with game designers, developers, and artists in a dynamic LiveOps setting, contributing to one of the most-played mobile games globally.
• What you will be responsible for:
• Designing and implementing modular and reusable UI/UX systems (cards, popups, banners, upgrades, etc.).
• Creating custom shaders and materials (2D/3D) for characters, environments, and UI elements.
• Constructing tween-based animation systems and shader-based responsive feedback effects.
• Providing technical visual solutions and FX to support gameplay teams, enhancing readability and impact.
• Developing and integrating screen-space FX and postprocessing effects for menus and gameplay.
• Contributing to VFX design for in-game actions, events, and player feedback.
• Prototyping and maintaining tools to streamline art production and optimize pipelines.
• Creating basic 3D models or animations as placeholder content when necessary.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in game development, preferably in mobile or stylized GaaS titles.
• Demonstrated track record across complete production cycles (from pre-production to LiveOps).
• Strong understanding of visual design principles: color, form, contrast, timing, motion.
• Proficient in Unity features such as uGUI, Shader Graph or Amplify, Animation and Timeline systems.
• Experience in creating stylized shaders for VFX and gameplay.
• Familiarity with editor tools and custom inspectors in Unity.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, or Maya.
• Nice to have: Experience in high-volume LiveOps pipelines with frequent content updates.
• Nice to have: A strong portfolio showcasing stylized UI/UX, VFX, or technical art systems.
