• Responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting tools that enhance workflows for artists and production teams
• Design and implement Toolset to facilitate data management across various software applications and create user-friendly interfaces
• Collaborate across disciplines to address pipeline challenges and propose innovative solutions
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Optimize existing code for improved performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Gain in-depth knowledge of studio tools, systems, and workflows to contribute to pipeline standards and best practices
• Create and update documentation while mentoring team members
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Python, Qt / PySide, and Maya
• Understanding of game engine capabilities and limitations
• Ability to research, test, and implement new techniques
• Experience in developing systems, tools, and assets for projects
• Knowledge of version control systems, specifically Perforce
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for video games and game development
• Familiarity with tools like Substance Painter, Photoshop, MotionBuilder, and Jira
• Understanding of Rigging, Physics Simulation, Shader, Grooming, and FACS
• Proficiency in C++, PyMel, and other relevant technologies
