• Develop captivating visual effects to enrich gameplay and engage players
• Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and developers to seamlessly incorporate effects into games
• Create and implement particle systems and environmental effects such as water, dust, and fire
• Innovate by designing and testing new tools, while sharing expertise with the team
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to prevent delays in development
• Utilize new methods to expedite and enhance art production
• Optimize content for consistent visual excellence across various platforms
• Serve as a liaison between art and programming departments, communicating technical limitations
• Proficiency in working with Unreal Engine
• Experience with VFX Niagara systems
• Strong grasp of visual aesthetics, lighting, composition, and artistic principles
• Sound knowledge of CG fundamentals in Maya, Max, Blender, or similar software
• Ability to troubleshoot and enhance complex assets, implementing efficient rendering and VFX techniques
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with embergen, houdini, or other rendering software for sprite sheets and meshes development
• Proficiency in using photoshop for VFX creation
