• We seek a Principal Product Designer to join our core experience team.
• As a Principal Product Designer, you will serve as the highest-level individual contributor responsible for driving design excellence, shaping strategy, and delivering impactful work within complex product domains. Collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, you will define the vision, unify experiences across the product ecosystem, and enhance quality through meticulous craftsmanship and strategic thinking. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will mentor others and champion design as a pivotal driver for customer and business impact.
• Transforming ambiguity into clarity, you will utilize your expertise and design process to establish structure. Proactively planning, anticipating challenges, and envisioning the next steps, even in uncertain circumstances.
• Leading by example, you will set a high standard for design quality, fostering innovation, and cultivating a culture of curiosity, urgency, and continuous enhancement.
• Thinking strategically, you will frame designs within the broader customer experience while also delving into detailed execution.
• Communicate work clearly and purposefully by collecting feedback from stakeholders, facilitating alignment, and representing the user's perspective in executive reviews.
• Collaboration across teams will ensure cohesive and consistent experiences, acting as a bridge between product areas and influencing the holistic user experience.
• Possess 10+ years of experience in Product Design, demonstrating a strong track record in delivering impactful, customer-centric experiences across native iOS and Android platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex design initiatives as a senior IC, influencing cross-functional strategies and product direction.
• Experience working in high-velocity teams and delivering solutions that drive measurable business and user value.
• Proficiency in design systems and end-to-end product thinking, balancing iterative improvements with larger experiences.
• Display a bias towards action, experimentation, and learning from outcomes, whether successes or failures.
• Comfortably utilize qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions and evaluate success.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate rationale, vision, and tradeoffs to designers, engineers, and executives.
