• Support the design and content team in advancing the brand and implementing design and brand styles
• Collaborate with the brand team to propose direction, prepare briefs, create brand standard templates, and ensure smooth design transitions across brand channels
• Work with various departments to collaborate on projects, including editorial, production, photo studio, and rights teams
• Assist in identifying image needs, finding creative solutions, and directing photo shoots
• Source assets from stock photo libraries, online galleries, and archives, evaluating quality and licensing restrictions
• Utilize Adobe CC Suite software on Macintosh to create layouts, templates, and maximize production efficiencies
• Oversee publication processes, including data merging, color correction, and ad placement
• Adhere to budgets and maintain brand consistency on all pages
• Support and train new employees and interns as needed
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of graphic design experience, preferably in print publications
• Basic knowledge of directing photo shoots, color, typography, and page design
• Strong skills in photo research, composition, and editing
• Understanding of creative concepting, art direction, design, and strategy
• Ability to pitch creative ideas effectively using mood boards or sketches
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a global team and with industry-standard software programs
• Familiarity with AI tools that complement the design process
• Understanding and appreciation for lifestyle, home, garden, and food topics
