• Responsible for reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing
• Develop unique brand-focused visual and video content for AU's various social media platforms, marketing initiatives, events, and more
• Assist AU by creating print, digital, and video materials to enhance AU's brand presence through diverse campaign strategies
• Create engaging campaigns for social media graphics and videos to support AU's social media efforts
• Collaborate with the Communications team to establish consistent and innovative designs for marketing and branding materials
• Uphold AU's brand guidelines throughout all creative projects
• Produce high-quality videos showcasing AU's work to stakeholders, members, and the public
• Manage and edit photos from events and site visits as required
• Update templated and collateral materials for various teams within the organization
• Assist in maintaining design processes, traffic systems, and production timelines
• Curate a library of creative assets including graphics, videos, photos, and other materials
• Stay informed about design trends and implement them as necessary in AU's creative projects
• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field from an accredited design institution, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in graphic design and video editing
• Preferred experience working with advocacy organizations or political campaigns
• Interest in church-state separation, religious freedom, and related constitutional principles
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
• Fluency in Google Drive and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with ClickUp project management software is a plus
• Understanding of printing methods and print production
• Strong skills in typography, layout, and branding with a passion for new design trends
• Familiarity with digital platforms and current trends in digital and social media best practices
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is advantageous
• Ability to translate complex policy/legal issues into visually engaging content
• Highly organized with proven project management skills and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage design projects effectively
