📋 Description

• The Director of Human Experience Design will oversee the entire user experience within our digital ecosystem, specifically focusing on our ecommerce website and subscription platform.

• Leading the UX/UI design strategy to boost conversions, decrease churn, and facilitate the rebranding of our online presence is a key responsibility.

• This role plays a crucial part in aligning business objectives with customer requirements through direct response design thinking and a data-informed design approach.

• Candidates must present a portfolio demonstrating expertise in call to action, rebranding, churn reduction, subscription, and conversion in direct response design projects.

• Taking charge of the UX/UI vision and roadmap for our website, landing pages, customer portal, and mobile experiences is part of the UX/UI Leadership role.

• Designing and enhancing user flows with a focus on direct response design principles to increase conversion rates, reduce churn, and enhance customer lifetime value is essential for Conversion Optimization.

• Overseeing the design and implementation of a comprehensive website rebranding initiative to ensure brand consistency, accessibility, and user-centered design best practices is part of the Website Rebranding responsibilities.

• Establishing and managing a scalable design system to support rapid experimentation, consistent implementation, and cross-functional collaboration falls under Design Systems.

• Conducting and supervising qualitative and quantitative user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to validate ideas and enhance decision-making is a key aspect of Research & Validation.

• Collaborating closely with the internal marketing team and engineers to deliver impactful user experiences that align with business KPIs is crucial.

• Managing and mentoring a growing team of UX/UI designers to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and user advocacy is an important part of the role.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, product design, or human experience design, preferably in DTC, ecommerce, or subscription-based settings.

• Proven track record of designing high-converting digital experiences using direct response strategies.

• Experience in leading or contributing to large-scale website redesigns and brand refresh projects is necessary.

• Thorough understanding of design systems, responsive design, and best practices in usability and accessibility is required.

• Strong portfolio showcasing design processes, user flows, and real-world impact on KPIs like conversion rate, bounce rate, or retention is essential.

• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools such as InVision or Framer is a must.

• Solid background in user research, user testing, and experimentation (A/B testing, multivariate testing) is crucial.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required.
