• The team you will be a part of is Braze's Orchestration Division, specifically working in the Messaging Design team to shape the future of customer engagement orchestration.
• Collaborate closely with Messaging Experience, Canvas Logic & Execution, and Core Messaging teams to create experiences that drive sophisticated marketing campaigns.
• Your work will directly impact thousands of marketers worldwide who utilize Braze's Canvas and Campaign experiences, transforming complex technical capabilities into intuitive tools that foster meaningful customer connections.
• Responsibilities:
• Design and enhance user experiences for Braze's Canvas and Campaign orchestration tools to allow marketers to effortlessly create sophisticated customer engagement workflows with the technical flexibility that enterprise customers require.
• Work closely with various teams to translate complex messaging logic and campaign requirements into clear, actionable user experiences that cater to diverse customer needs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and identify opportunities to streamline processes while enhancing capabilities.
• Create detailed interaction specifications and prototypes to ensure seamless implementation of features that perform reliably at enterprise scale.
• Contribute to Braze's design system by establishing patterns and components that provide consistent experiences while meeting the needs of workflow-based interfaces.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and leadership to influence the roadmap and advocate for user-centric design decisions.
• Possess 3–5+ years of product design experience with a focus on designing complex digital products, particularly those involving workflow creation, data visualization, or multi-step user journeys.
• Approach design challenges with a systems mindset and enjoy collaborating with engineers to propose innovative solutions that balance user-friendliness and technical feasibility.
• Ground your design process in user research and evidence-based decision making to ensure solutions meet real user outcomes.
• Excel at cross-functional collaboration, influencing roadmaps and communicating design concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong craft skills across interaction design, visual design, and prototyping, particularly in handling complex information and workflows elegantly.
• Be detail-oriented, organized, and able to tackle complex challenges by breaking them down into manageable design problems.
• Showcase experience in designing for complex applications or workflow tools with a clear impact on user outcomes and business metrics.
