Director - Senior Director of Product Design

📋 Description

• Lead the enhancement of the BH Experience by designing and implementing a seamless brand experience across the marketplace, multiple brands, and apps.

• Co-develop a comprehensive design strategy in collaboration with the CPO to align with objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

• Establish strong partnerships with product management, engineering, data science, and user research teams to ensure cohesive experiences.

• Manage a high-performing team of product designers, offering design direction, clear feedback, and maintaining design quality.

• Collaborate closely with User Research to incorporate timely feedback, address customer pain points, and improve efficiency in the design process.

• Continually seek ways to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of product design.

• Ensure the team focuses on high-priority items that drive measurable impact.

• Utilize best practices for tools, designs/wireframes, and prototyping to support product team initiatives.

• Use quantitative and qualitative data to iterate and enhance user experience.

• Maintain high design standards across visual and interaction design, systems, and content strategy, leading effective design reviews and providing constructive feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading product design.

• Demonstrate mastery in visual and interaction design, systems, information architecture, and content strategy.

• Possess experience in team leadership, org building, and hiring top talent.

• Strong strategic thinking skills to translate business goals into actionable strategies based on customer insights.

• Track record of successfully shipping products and setting up scalable processes.

• Excellent collaboration skills to build trust, influence, and ensure design integrity and quality.

• Ability to mentor, grow others' careers, and empower teams for success.

• Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.

• Passion for customer needs, data-driven decision-making, and systems thinking.

• Experience with design tools such as Figma and Adobe CC, A/B testing, and user-centric design prioritization.
